Prerequisites: None - this is a Beginner class.
Class Description: A class for the person who has never woven on a floor loom but has always wanted to make cloth. You will explore planning a project, dressing a loom,
weaving a sampler, and the finishing techniques needed to finish your sampler into a wall hanging.
Fee: $180 for HWFA members (must have completed orientation at the time of registration) or $190 for non-members, payable by check, cash or credit card to HWFA. Materials
fee of $15.00 payable to the Instructor on class day.
Supplies brought by student: Small sharp scissors, tape measure, pencil with eraser, calculator, and a desire to learn how cloth is made.
Materials Used (provided by instructor or HWFA): Notebook with handouts. Yarn for sampler, loom.
