Prerequisites: None.
Class Description: A class for the person who is new to rug hooking. You will learn
how to pull a loop, plan a rug, make a pattern, and finish the hooked piece.
Fee: $90 for HWFA members (must have completed orientation at the time of
registration) or $100 for non-members, payable by check, cash or credit card to HWFA.
Materials fee: $75.00 for the kit payable to the Instructor on class
day.
Supplies brought by student: Hooks will be available to borrow or purchase. You will
also need a frame for the linen - a 12-14” quilting frame works well. Bring sharp scissors.
Materials Used (provided by instructor or HWFA): Instructor will provide your rug
hooking kit, and hooks (to borrow or purchase).
