Prerequisites: Beginning Spinning
Class Description: A class for the person who knows how to spin a yarn that holds
together. You will learn how to layer fibers, colors and textures on a blending board to create beautiful rolags for spinning.
Fee: $30 for HWFA members (must have completed orientation at the time of
registration) or $40 for non-members, payable by check, cash or credit card to HWFA.
Materials fee: $15.00 payable to the Instructor on class day.
Supplies brought by student: Any fibers that you wish to bring plus your own blending
board if you have one, but this is not required (see materials provided below).
Materials Used (provided by instructor or HWFA): Instructor will provide a variety of
wool breeds, dyed & natural, silk, alpaca, & Firestar (plus any other fibers that you want to bring).
Last day to register: February 2, 2023.
