Maximum number of students: 10 Location: Historic Johnson Farm on Haywood Road, Hendersonville, NC Class Description: In this one-day class you will learn the basics of Rigid Heddle weaving. The day will include planning a project, dressing a Rigid Heddle loom and weaving a
sampler of possibilities. Prerequisites: None - this is a beginner class. Students should bring the following to class: Scissors, tape measure, calculator, pencil with eraser, sticky notes and extra yarn if you want to add some of your own yarns.
If you have your own Rigid Heddle loom, bring an 8 dent heddle, threading hook and 2 stick shuttles. Fee: $75.00 for HWFA members or $100.00 for non-members includes class and equipment fee. Please contact HWFA – email@example.com if you plan to bring your own loom. Material Fee: $8 The Instructor will provide yarns for the class project. The last day to register for the class is June 15, 2022.
